Luke Greenwood
Builder•Musician•Poet
I'm a builder, musician, and poet who loves connecting people, sounds, and words to build beautiful things.
I’ve spent years as an operator and program manager, building high-performing products and teams at Lyft, Rivian, Bear Flag Robotics, and John Deere. My zone of genius is connecting diverse teams across hardware, software, and operations. I like to think of myself as a conductor, selecting the music and ensuring everyone is synchronized while the masters perform.
I play over a dozen instruments with a focus on dobro, guitar, bass, and percussion. I can’t stop learning and tend to pick up a new instrument every year. My favorite thing is live improvisation, tuning in to the people in a room to perform the right music for the moment.
I’ve always written poetry and recently published a book, Comfort and Chaos, which dives into the tension between the pace of modernity and the rhythms of nature. I believe art is best shared in the physical world, so my book is only available as a hard copy, and most of my music only exists while I’m playing it.
